We have received word that our application for a Section 18 label for Isomate GRB Z has been approved. This is a mating disruption product for grape root borer. We had a similar product available for several years that very successfully managed this destructive pest, but was lost for technical regulatory issues a couple of years ago, during the transition to a slightly modified product. Last year we had a Section 18 (Emergency Use) label for several states, including Virginia. These labels are in effect for just one year at a time, and there was no assurance that we would have this tool again for 2026. So this is good news - this approach is the most effective management tool for grape root borer.
